@TORLEY Thanks for clarifying your question, I see what you mean now, so to answer your question, at the moment you are right, there is no way to link the new browser to replace a specific multi part.

Minimized view or full on in the old browser view also affects how the new browser behaves when you load a sound. When in minimized view it will load the preset instead of the one that was previously loaded, in full view, it will load on top and add the instrument in your multi. Please check the manual: -instruments.com/ni-tech-manuals/kontakt-manual/en/welcome-to-kontakt

Thanks for quick response. I am familiar with that guide and with many other Youtube videos on how to do the multi output setup. That all works exactly as the guide says it should. But I still can not get the Red Record enable button to appear on any of the Aux tracks that I create for each subsequent stereo output assignment. It only appears on Track1 (Inst 1).

Minimize/Maximize all Instrument Headers: Toggles all Instrument Headers in your multi between their minimized and maximized size. At their normal size, Instrument Headers contain more information, but also occupy more screen space. Use this feature to see an overview of all Instruments on a page or to save screen space when you're not planning to adjust any Instrument parameters. For more information, refer to Minimize View

MIDI Channel: Indicates the currently assigned MIDI input channel that the Instrument will respond to. Clicking it will open a drop-down menu that allows you to select a new MIDI channel for this Instrument. The Omni setting will make it respond to MIDI data on any channel; below it, the available ports of your MIDI interface will appear as sub-menus, each one containing the 16 channels of the respective ports. Note that the maximum number of distinct MIDI channels that you can use is 64 in the stand-alone version of KONTAKT PLAYER, and 16 when using KONTAKT PLAYER as a plug-in.

Max Voices: Defines the maximum number of voices that the Instrument may use at any time. Change this value by clicking on it, then dragging the mouse up or down. If you notice that the number of currently used voices rises to the Max Voices value during play and you hear that voices are being cut off, try increasing this value.

Solo button: When activated, all other Instruments in the Multi are muted, and the output signal can be heard in isolation. How KONTAKT PLAYER will handle multiple Solo selections is determined by the Solo Mode setting, refer to Handling Tab.

The purge mechanism in KONTAKT PLAYER keeps track of which Samples in an Instrument have been actually triggered since the Instrument was loaded, and gives you the option of removing all other Samples from the Instrument. This way, you can reduce the number of Samples that are being kept in memory to the subset that you have actually used in your arrangement.

I'm using power automate to wire up some info into smartsheets. I have everything working so far but multi contact list and multi pick list. The contact list error I get is this: The value "John smith" could not be saved in column "Assignment". This column is restricted to MULTI_CONTACT_LIST values only. The name is definitely there. Have tried email addresses, arrays, objects, strings, nothing works.

for the multi-contact, I'm passing in the display name or the email address, as strings, and this fails. I'm using integrations w/ power automate, so there is no lower level option to configure cell.objectvalue or .displayValue, or however that works.

I got this to work, however, I had to remove the restriction on the column. It is not possible to update the column via API or integration if the multi-contact column is restricted. And even w/ level=1 (for multi-contact list) and include objectValue on the query string, it still does not update the contact properly. It'll show the name or the email in the column but not the object, until the checkbox is manually clicked. Jeff, thanks for your suggestion. Spent a lot of time on this one field issue, unfortunately.

To add: what I had to do to get this to work in power automate, was leave off the multi-contact/multi-pick list fields when inserting a row and update it in a different step. You can only populate those kinds of columns via HTTP trigger, because of the poor support integrations has been given. Supply these values on an HTTP trigger step:

Also, bring in a Parse JSON step to break down the body from the insert row, because you will need the row id in order to update those fields. For folks who don't want the headache of doing all of this, convert the column to a text/number and you should have no issues.

Another thing I was going to suggest, though not ideal, is to add your contact to a text/number field, then use a formula in the multi-contact field to bring in the email value from the text/number field. This doesn't work with multiple emails in one field, though. But it is something I use quite a bit, especially when collecting responses or entries in a form where I don't know who the respondents will be, they don't sign into Smartsheet, and so I could not maintain a contact list; I prompt the user to enter their email address, use the email format validation in the form, and then just use a simple =UserEmailTextField@row to bring that email into the Contact List field.

I adapted the video to Gig Performer and ended up testing both methods, multiple Kontakt instances vs a single Kontakt instance with layered instruments. I could not see a difference in CPU usage either way. I expected to see a higher CPU usage when using multiple instances but was surprised to see both methods the same. In my test I was only using two piano libraries so perhaps that was not enough load to make a difference.

I am following this library to add contact picker _contact_picker, and I am able to get numbers successfully from adding to my EditTextBox but, I want to add multiple contacts selected from contact and add only number in particular EditTextView this is my contact picker activity, I am stuck about that where to add adapter to complete that, any help?:

Multi-contact stimulating electrodes are gaining acceptance as a means for interfacing with the peripheral nervous system. These electrodes can potentially activate many independent populations of motor units within a single peripheral nerve, but quantifying their recruitment properties and the overlap in stimulation between contacts is difficult and time consuming. Further, current methods for quantifying overlap between contacts are ambiguous and can lead to suboptimal selective stimulation parameters. This study describes a novel method for optimizing stimulation parameters for multi-contact peripheral stimulating electrodes to produce strong, selective muscle contractions. The method is tested with four-contact spiral nerve-cuff electrodes implanted on bilateral femoral nerves of two individuals with spinal cord injury, but it is designed to be extendable to other electrode technologies with higher densities of contacts.

To optimize selective stimulation parameters for multi-contact electrodes, first, recruitment and overlap are characterized for all contacts within an electrode. Recruitment is measured with the twitch response to single stimulus pulses, and overlap between pairs of contacts is quantified by the deviation in their combined response from linear addition of individual responses. Simple mathematical models are fit to recruitment and overlap data, and a cost function is defined to maximize recruitment and minimize overlap between all contacts.

Results are presented for four-contact nerve-cuff electrodes stimulating bilateral femoral nerves of two human subjects with spinal cord injury. Knee extension moments between 11.6 and 43.2 Nm were achieved with selective stimulation through multiple contacts of each nerve-cuff with less than 10% overlap between pairs of contacts. The overlap in stimulation measured in response to selective stimulation parameters was stable at multiple repeated time points after implantation.

These results suggest that the method described here can provide an automated means of determining stimulus parameters to achieve strong muscle contractions via selective stimulation through multi-contact peripheral nerve electrodes.

Independent activation can allow for the control of multiple functions with a single electrode and for recruitment of multiple populations of agonist motor units within a single muscle [4, 5]. Control of multiple functions with a single electrode could reduce the number of implantation sites required to produce a variety of functional joint moments for FNS systems [5]. Control of multiple agonist motor unit populations with a single electrode could allow for better control of joint moment by varying the number of motor units recruited by the electrode [4]. Further, by alternating stimulation of multiple agonist motor unit populations, it may be possible to reduce stimulation duty cycle and prolong the time of muscle contractions before the onset of fatigue [6]. To take advantage of these benefits of multi-contact electrodes, it is crucial to be able to measure and minimize overlap in recruitment between the contacts within these electrodes. Overlap in recruitment may limit the options available to control the response to stimulation. Repeated activation of the same motor units by multiple contacts may also contribute to rapid fatigue.
