- 17.19 Craigieburn line: Buses are replacing trains North Melbourne - Essendon (heat), adding 40 min.
- 18.05 Trains are resuming.  First: 18.15 ex Flinders St; 17.58 ex Craigieburn.
- 18.13 What a joke: sent from Parliament to Southern Cross as none to Craigieburn through the loop, tram it, now being told no trains through SC to North Melbourne; go back to Flinders St and hope for the best.
- 18.31 Back at Flinders St now; will arrive where I started 75 minutes ago (Parliament), soon. We understand that there are problems but to be sent around in cicles by your staff is bullshit.  Metro needs to offer real compensation, not just a half-day ticket.
17.51 Mernda/Hurstbridge lines: Major delays (heat-related speed restrictions).  Trains may be altered.
19.13 Werribee/Williamstown lines: Major delays (fire brigade in the Newport area).  Trains may terminate/originate at intermediate stations.
