- 5.58 Ripponlea - Prahran passengers, head for a tram.
- 6.19 Trains resuming, first: 7.17 ex Flinders St; 6.57 ex Sandringham.
- 6.56 The current alert on the app is ambiguous at best...says buses replacing trains... but also says in the link that trains have resumed
- This is the PTV app and not controlled by Metro. We'd recommend using our own app (Metro Notify), or viewing our website which shows the latest train running and delay information.

- 5.06 clearing.
8.41 Hurstbridge line: Major delays (a track fault in the Eltham area). Trains may remain stationary for extended periods between stations, or may terminate/originate at intermediate locations.
- Why does it feel like this line has a track fault every other week? Infrastructure really needs a proper overhaul. Hope they sort it soon, but I’m not holding my breath.
- 9.02 Buses to replace trains Greensborough - Eltham, eta over 50 min.
- countdown 30-15.
- 10.00 Buses are in operation with more enroute.
- 10.33 Trains are resuming. First: 10.39 ex Flinders St; 11.26 ex Hurstbridge.
10.13 What’s going on on the Pakenham line? why the delays?

https://tinyurl.com/ycxh79f5- I wish they’d do more overnight works instead of cutting weekend loops. These disruptions always hit when people actually need trains. Wonder if the maintenance will actually improve reliability long term.
21.39 Why is this train going only to Moorabbin?
22.10 Sunbury/Pakenham/Cranbourne lines: Major delays ('network congestion' in the Flinders St area). Train services may be altered.
- How does that work the Metro tunnel Sunbury, Pakenham and Cranbourne are independent lines and have no relationship with the other lines that severe Flinders Street and Town hall is a separate station.
- 2.16 clearing.
- It feels like these delays are becoming the new normal on the Metro network. Glad theyre clearing up but "network congestion" always feels like a vague excuse to me. What actually causes that?
- “Congestion” is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. Feels like we’re just expected to accept vague excuses instead of real infrastructure fixes. Is there actually a plan for the future or just more band aids? “Congestion” is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. 22.15 Wasn’t a Frankston train for 30 min. Was 80 000 ppl at mcg wtf are you doing?
- Nothing.
- Their usual.
- 22.16 Frankston line: Major delays ('network congestion' in the Flinders St area). Train services may be altered at short notice.
- 22.29 There were trains going to Moorabbin and Cheltenham, why not Frankston?
- Moorabbin trains were for East Pakenham & Cranbourne passengers since trains aren’t going via the tunnel from 23.30 until the last train on Sunday.
- Cheltenham were footy specials they usually operate during the footy same as a bit of Frankston. - Absolute debacle. How is there congestion when half the lines aren’t running? Third world network at best
- 2.17 clearing.
- 'network congestion' is becoming a daily occurrence. Glad it’s clearing up but I’m lowkey waiting for the next delay to hit. Anyone else feel like the system just can’t keep up with demand?
- This is giving me flashbacks to when they tried to blame everything on leaves on the track. Curious what’s actually causing the congestion today?

https://tinyurl.com/6wyfn466- Finally some weekend works that actually make sense. Hope this means better reliability for the Sunbury line long term. Still, 11:30pm cutoff feels early... anyone else stuck without a car in the outer suburbs?
Pakenham/Cranbourne lines: All trains will originate and terminate at South Yarra from 23.30 until the last train of Sunday 24 May (works).
https://tinyurl.com/yzkawm2- South Yarra again? Seems like every other month these lines get cut there. Hope the project works actually speed things up long term. Anyone know what they’re actually building?
