4.25 Sunbury line: Major delays (a track fault in the North Melbourne area).  Trains may remain stationary for extended periods at or between stations, or may terminate/originate at intermediate stations.
- 6.01 Buses to replace trains between Sunshine and North Melbourne, eta over 30 min. Sunbury - Sunshine trains have delays.
- 7.15 Limited buses are in operation, adding 40 min; more are on the way.
- 11.00 Buses are still replacing trains.
- 11.03 Are the trains back running? Metro's website shows good service now.
- 11.15 We had a slight issue with website; the message was off for about 5 min.  The equipment fault is ongoing, and the section remains suspended.
- 12.45 Buses are still replacing trains.
- 18.16 Trains are resuming. First trains: 18.22 ex Flinders St; 18.07 ex Sydenham Watergardens.
- 18.25 Once it became apparent the fault was serious and would close the line for an extended period, I feel withholding this information was disrespectful to commuters. Please do better in the future.
- Metro now runs the runs the Sunbury bus service on weekends. The Sunbury train line is a weekday 9am-5pm service only. Can use the Sunbury train tracks only for empty HCMT Test Trains these days
9.12 Owing to recent rain, there's no general parking available in Yarra Park around MCG for this afternoon's AFL match.  Use public transport where possible, with several train, tram and bus options.
9.49 Craigieburn / Upfield lines: Passengers needing to travel to Southern Cross check http://metrotrains.com.au for a Travel Alert.

- 12.51 we are just getting word of a fault at North Melbourne that may affect Craigieburn line.

16.56 Craigieburn line: Delays clearing  after police attended to disruptive passengers in the Flinders St area.  Trains may terminate/originate at intermediate stations.
19.12 All entrances to Jolimont and Richmond are open for AFL return traffic.
