G class and changes

I finally saw a G class in action today with driver training stepping up
on route 59. 7001 was heading north out of Moonee Ponds Junction

The roll out also includes simplification of tram stops. Commonly three
stops are being replaced by two and stops moved away from intersections.

A map from Transport Victoria is attached.

The stop in Pascoe Vale Rd at Buckley is pictured and will be moved
about 100m south, with the actual closure being from (next) Saturday
27th of June.

Here's a self indulgent pic of 'my tram stop' - which closed on Friday.

It has been moved to a much safer location just around the corner and
away from busy Pascoe Vale Rd. in Essendon
