Buses replace Frankston trains between Parliament and Caulfield, also Parliament - Sandringham, until the last train of Sunday 11 January (works).
Owing to the extreme fire rating, buses will replace trains between Bayswater and Belgrave from 12.00 until 20.30.
- 12.49 buses are in operation, adding 20 min. 
- 20.53 Trains are resuming.  First: 20.05 ex Flinders St; 21.41 ex Belgrave.
- Trains were supposed to resume at 20.30; there’s been a delay of almost an hour.
13.09 East Pakenham / Cranbourne lines: Major delays after a train fault in the Clayton area.  Trains may be altered.
17.02 Buses to replace trains between Eltham and Hurstbridge (a tree fallen across tracks), eta over 60 min.  Eltham trains have delays.
- 18.00 Buses are in operation, adding 30 min.
- 20.30 Replacement is now Greensborough - Hurstbridge.
- 23.14 Trains are resuming. First: 22.12 ex Flinders St; 22.57 ex Hurstbridge.
19.19 Sunbury line: Major delays clearing after a police action in the Sunshine area.  Trains may terminate/originate at intermediate stations.
Buses replace trains between Newport and Werribee from 20.30 until 2.00 Sat.10.1 (works).

1.19 Upfield line: Major delays (a train fault in the Moreland area).  Trains may be held at platforms, or may terminate/originate at intermediate stations.
