Transport Victoria have a new piece of spin online at:

https://transport.vic.gov.au/news-and-resources/projects/g-class-trams

The video includes the claim that the G calss represent the "Largest
order of locally trams in Australia history".

I suspect many readers will dispute that!

Why don't you send them details of the Sydney O class and a map of NSW so that they can locate Sydney?

Don't worry, the same happens in NSW, "The Premier State"!

Going back to the comparative delivery timetable I was casually following, so far 20 Škoda 52Ts have been delivered to Prague in the last seven months since the first.

Gee-up Victoria!

I found the source of that claim via the Wikipedia article on the G class.

I often wonder with us here in Vic let alone other states how much does the rule or clause that states a certain % of local content slow down the processsinstead of just building the damn things in the best and quickest way possible.Or better yet just import them complete to our specs,as Tony has said 20 trams in 7 months,we will be lucky to get 3 trams in 7 months.
