10.06 Werribee line: Buses to replace trains between Newport and Laverton via Altona (a faulty freight train in the Newport area) eta over 30 min. Trains either side have delays.  [the 'fault' was the derailment of an SCT freight].
- 10.20 Buses are in operation.
- 14.22 Trains are resuming. First: 14.19 ex Werribee; 14.04 ex Flinders St.
19.03 Sunbury line: Major delays (a train fault in the Middle Footscray area).  Trains may be held at or between stations, or may terminate/originate at intermediate stations.
- 19.34 clearing.
