Battle for the Galaxy is a space-themed strategic MMO that takes you to a futuristic world full of dangers. By building your base and deploying a powerful army of soldiers, in each game you will try to besiege your opponents to reign supreme in this universe.
In Battle for the Galaxy, you will need to expand your base and, throughout each game, have to manage a host of special space-related resources. By constructing new, highly sophisticated buildings, you can establish a complete operations area in no time at all and have control over every process. However, you also need to pay close attention to what your opponents are up to if you don't want them to end up mercilessly destroying your brand-new constructions.
In Battle for the Galaxy you will take part in dynamic battles that are sure to put your soldiers to the test. By tapping on different areas of the map, you can deploy your troops on the ground. This will allow you to quickly destroy your enemies. In a similar vein, on your way to countless victories, you will also have to attack rival fortresses with the intention of decimating everything that stands in your way.
As the action in Battle for the Galaxy plays out, you can watch from a top-down perspective and keep a close eye on each advancement as it happens. As they say, the best offense is a good defense and, therefore, you will always have to have one eye on your opponents' strategies to counter enemy offenses as best you can. It's the far future and humanity has managed to explore space further and establish colonies on other planets. Yet, despite these achievements, conflict is still rampant with humans still fighting amongst each other as well as the dangers of the galaxy. As the commander, you must lead your forces to fight and defend valuable areas of land so that you expand and extract the resources within.

When you aren't fighting, you're doing your best to build up your base, gather, resources, and improve your forces so that you can be ready for whatever comes your way. Just know that it's a harsh galaxy out there and only the toughest survive.
Battle for the Galaxy is a 3D top-down strategy game about fighting battles on other planets using the mouse. The entire game uses a UI that can be navigated with the cursor. To build and perform different actions, simply click on the related icon with the Left Mouse Button. Everything else runs automatically with buildings producing resources and your defenses protecting your base. To collect resources or train units, you need to click on the associated building and the related icon. The goal is to defend and expand your base to become a dominant force in the galaxy.
The home screen shows your base with your core facility being the most important part. As time goes on, you can earn Energy, Titanium, and Crystals for training units, building facilities, and purchasing upgrades. While in your base, enemies may occasionally attack with the intent to destroy your core, but any defenses and units you have will automatically fight to protect it. You can train units, perform processes, and build things, which will be completed over time or you can use resources to speed them up. As you level up and unlock more facilities, you'll also unlock more types of units.
When you have enough units, you can choose to attack enemy bases. This requires you to deploy units on the outskirts of the base upon which they will advance and attack the first building that comes into range. Your primary goal is to destroy the core, but you'll gain a higher score and more rewards if you destroy the whole base. Any units you lose will have to be trained again and if you lose all of your units, you will need to fall back.
When you're first starting, try to avoid playing too aggressively. If you keep fighting and losing, you'll drain your resources which will make it harder for you to defend your base and build your forces back up. When training units, try to accommodate different base arrangements such as destroying walls, engaging defenses quickly, or keeping attacks at a distance.

Rival Battles was released in the update 0.75.6. It enables you to fight against other players forchips. There are three tiers, each having a different cost to play and payout. The cheapest option is free for your first battle!
After you click on which tier you want to play, Galaxy Life will try to find another player who is also competing in the same tier. The player you're matched against will have the same level Star Base, but it will ignore "level too low" restrictions.
Both players are given seven minutes (the time of a standard attack) to destroy the other base. Just like a normal battle, if you run out of troops, or the time runs out, the attack will end. The battle will also end if everything is destroyed. Once the battle has ended, Galaxy Life will look at two things to see the competitor.
