coommunity focuses on improving packaging equipment reliability
through effective training. We know that there are common challenges
that end users and OEMs face when it comes to training that impact
operational performance - high turnover, sophisticated technology,
considering eLearning as a delivery mechanism and evaluating the best
application, ways to evaluate the effectiveness of training and
trainers, planning, etc. With your input and sharing, we can tackle
those issues together.
Mission: Identify and share effective training techniques and
principles and implement them through training partnerships and joint
initiatives.
Specific Objectives:
· Identify end-users' equipment training requirements and develop a
respected list of industry principles that can be incorporated into
OEM and end-user training initiatives.
· Create a venue for end-user and OEM leaders to share effective
technical training practices and recommendations.
· Develop a technical training network for end-users and OEMs.
· Provide educational/informational sessions/materials focusing on the
group's critical training issues, learning from Subject Matter Experts
as well as one another.
COP Guidelines:
- Keep "commonality" as the key in terms of our discussions
- Don't talk about it if you don't want us to know
- Whatever is shared among the COP is available to be shared on the
outside
- No finger pointing
- Sharing frustrations - not about blaming, about fixing
