Problemi nell'installazione di traindir3

salve avevo da poco scaricato traindir3 dal sito su backstreet, ecco una volta seguite le istruzioni sul sito e provato ad avviare traindir3.exe non appare niente, o meglio appare nei programmi attivi MA non appare niente del sito, come posso risolvere?

Non funziona neanche per me. E appare nella barra delle applicazioni. Il programma ha funzionato bene per diversi anni e all'improvviso si è interrotto. Ho scaricato di nuovo il programma e ancora non si avvia. Me ne sono lamentato mesi fa senza risposta da nessuno.

Non accade nulla. Quando faccio clic con il pulsante destro del mouse, vedo "traindir3.exe - Collegamento" "Aggiungi alla barra delle applicazioni" "Chiudi tutte le finestre". Il collegamento non avvia il programma.

La risposta fornita da Maurizio Moris è quella corretta.

Se vedete il programma nella barra delle applicazioni ma la finestra del programma non si vede è perchè windows l'ha ridotta ad icona.

Se ancora non torna visibile seguite questi passi:

1. Premere Alt+Tab per spostare l'evidenziazione sull'icona della finestra.
2. Premere Alt+barra spaziatrice per aprire il menu di controllo della finestra.
3. Premere Freccia giù fino a selezionare Ripristina.

Restart traindir3-9-10.exe in your folder of game (traindir3-9-10.exe is my personnal label for the program)
At the nest close of program, tdir.ini will be create with news parameters

Jeff, could you send me your tdir3.ini file?

I'm mostly interested in the lines under the [MainView] section.

In mine, I see the following:

You should see something similar, especially for the x, y, w, h values.

As I cannot reproduce this problem, it's very difficult to understand why it happens

for some users.

As others have said, deleting the tdir3.ini file should reset the state to its default

and it should recreate a clean file (losing your history and other minor settings).

Also, if you don't mind, what's your screen resolution, and do you switch between

resolutions (e.g. when connecting a laptop screen to an external monitor)?

Hi Jeff,

   very interesting. You can see that the x,y position for the TD window is totally off.

x = -32000

y = -32000

w = 237

h = 39

You can try to exit TD, open the tdir3.ini file with the notepad editor (not with Word!)

and change those values to something more sensible, such as

x = 1

y = 1

w = 2000

h = 1000

and start TD again to see if that fixes the problem.

Nine days later and again I can't open the program.  I looked at tdir3.ini and sure enough the parameters had changed.  I edited the file again and it initiated.  Glad I am saving this conversation.
