Looking for a Pet/House Sitter

Hey Trailstormers,

My partners and I are taking the babies to Berlin for Christmas to meet Anja's family and are looking for someone to pet sit at our place in Waltham. We would prefer to have someone we know, so I thought I would reach out to you all first. It could be a good opportunity to get away from roommates, have some snuggle time with some great creatures, and make some money while doing it.

Our pets

• Oliver: 1 year old golden doodle who loves walks, rocks, socks, and rolling in the snow. He's turned into a huge snuggler since getting shaved.
• Cptn. Jack: 8 year old giant cat. He reads his morning paper on the porch, turns in to a super snuggler when the temp drops below 65, disappears at the sound of the doorbell. 
  
• Fish: we have a couple of guppies we inherited from one of our foster kids, I think they're the fay (fay= fish gay) ones and two catfish.

Our apartment

• In Waltham near Brandeis
• 2nd & 3rd floors of a two-family house
• Choice of sleeping locations (4 bed rooms, 2 being used as bedrooms, plus bed in nook, I guess you could also sleep in a crib)
• Fairy tree to hang out in, read, whatever
• Free laundry
• Parking in driveway
• We can leave you a commuter rail pass to use

We'll be gone the last two weeks of December until the day after New Years. Oliver can be alone for up to 8hrs a day and if you needed to go somewhere for a day or two, he could travel with you.

Please let me know if you're interested or if you know someone who might be. We'd also be open to one person doing one week and someone else doing another, although we'd prefer to have the same person for both weeks.
