An update from one of our teammates, Ryker

Dear Trailstormers,

Hello and welcome to the new season! For those who might not know me, I'm Katie (she/they) and have played on the Trailblazers for a few years, and am roommates with Ryker (aka gumby, he/they) who's played on the Barnstormers for a few years, but not last season (they were in LA).

I'm writing this email to just give everyone a head's up that Ryker is going through some really hard and really shitty family stuff right now; his mom is dying from cancer. They are super close, and being closer to them in CT is one of the reasons they moved back to the east coast. This message is just to let you all know, since his Trailstormer family is also super important to him. If you want to reach out to him you can, but he might not respond since the spoon supply is already low, and even lower these days. When he comes back to MA (he is taking time off work to be with his parents) he says hugs and sympathies are appreciated . I've written this email with permission from Ryker.
