Dear Colleagues:

Creekside Trail is parallel to Coon Creek, and it runs for many miles along the north side of the creek; hence its name.

For safety reasons, this is a one-way trail, beginning on North Legacy Way, and heading westward.  The safety reason is that there are several trail segments with a very steep side-slope and the narrow trail has insufficient width for horses to pass a bicycle or hiker.

Placer County Parks Department placed one-way signage in Summer 2o13, so look for these important trail signs.

Respectfully submitted, Robert H. Sydnor, equestrian and geologist.
