This website contains 16 short reports on trails within Hidden Falls Regional Park, Placer County, California. There are 27 separate trails totaling 30 miles within Hidden Falls, and the eventual goal is to have a trail report for each one. Each concise report is about 3 or 4 pages long, with a map of the trail, photographs along the route, and descriptive text including the geology, topography, and botany. There are parking fees and timed parking permits for Hidden Falls on Saturdays and Sundays, and 3-day holiday weekends.

Concurrently, about eight hundred GPS-tagged photographs along the trails have been posted onto Google Earth. So also visit the Google Earth website, then drill-down on the region about 8 miles west of Auburn, then increase the resolution to perceive the 800+ trail-bed photographs. These sequential trail-bed photographs are taken roughly at 50 to 100-foot intervals, based on each new vista looking straight forward along the trail-bed.
