Poppy Trail within Hidden Falls Regional Park, Placer County, California

Dear Colleagues:

       The Poppy Trail begins at the parking lot for Hidden Falls and it descends parallel to Deadman Creek with several gentle switchbacks.  This trail has a gentle gradient, so it is a favorite for hikers who like to stroll, and  families with young children.  Look for the short footpath that descends to come rocky cataracts along the creek.  There is a memorial resting bench here for hikers to rest and enjoy the cataracts.
