TrackEditor: Cannot Trim or Remove Selection

Hi,

Wanted to delete a part of a workout and followed the guidelines in
the tutorial (http://homepage.mac.com/berbie/Tutorials/Steps/
TrackEditor.html). Unfortunately the dialog shows only "Split at
Selection" the options trim or remove aren't shown. Any ideas?
