There are some weeks I do a lot of walking and running, there are weeks
I do none. Whenever I walk or run, I carry a GPS with me and afterwards,
tracks are imported to Trailrunner.
Now, when I look at the graph of the "Weeks" tab of the Diary, I have a
nice overview of the speed and distance over a long period of time. It's
usefull, as it allows me to see some trends in my activity. However, in
the weeks without any activity, there's the suggestion of activity.
So, for example, in week 25 I have walked 100 km, in week 26 and 27 I
haven't done anything at all, followed by week 28 where I covered 120 km
of tracks. In the graph, there's a line at 100 km for distance for week
25 and a line at 120 km in week 28. In weeks 26 and 28 there is a line
extrapolated for the entries of weeks 25 and 28.
I would prefer to see the distance graph to drop to zero, instead of
having it extrapolated (which suggests activity where there has been
none).
I understand there is a reason for rendering the distance the way it is
now, so maybe there should be an additional line or having this
configurable.
Does this make sense to anyone but me? :)
