Andrea got approval from K-Park High School to use their lighted
parking lot for our Wednesday night speed-work. We didn't get an
answer about turning on the lights at the track. It's doubtful they
will accommodate us, but maybe we'll get lucky.
We'll be starting at 6:30 pm. Remember to bring a large towel for the
core strength workout. The workout can be tailored to runners of
various running abilities and you can do as little or as much as you
want. The schedule will look something like this:
1-mile warm-up
Core Strength Workout
4 x 800 @ race pace followed by 400 recovery (Yasso’s)
1-mile cool-down
Kingwood Park High School

Enter the LAST entrance off Woodland Hills, at the rear of the school.
Park near the soccer field. We will be running in the parking lot
closest to the track, which happens to measure a perfect quarter-mile.
