The 2007 Tour de Front Range (TdFR) is only a couple days away. This
year's course is going to challenge the best of us. However, I want
to point out that this is a social ride and everyone is welcome.
There are plenty of bail out points along the route as well as many
points where you can jump into the pack.
We've had a full summer of mountain biking and this ride is the
perfect excuse to tap into the fitness you've gained, challenge
yourself, and feel a sense of accomplishment when you finish and are
able to say that you have finished the Tour de Front Range.
If you are unfamiliar with the TdFR there are several posts on the
TrailCentral community forum that will inform you about the ride, let
you know what trails are include, and when the ride starts.
If you are unable to make the ride, but know of other riders that are
looking for something or somewhere to ride, please let them know about
the TdFR. It has always been a lot of fun in the past and I have no
doubt this year will be fun too.
If you plan on riding and are in need of a shuttle or would like to
stash a cooler in the vehicle that is being left at the Matthews/
Winters parking area, reply to me (do not reply to all) and I'll be
sure to get back in touch with you and help you out. If I can't help
you; I'll figure out who can help you. Otherwise, feel free to post
comments to this Google Group or the Community forum at TrailCentral.
Hope to see and ride with many of you this Saturday!
