I'll pass this on to others in my group, Team Evergreen, but my question
to a pro would be: Nutrition - how do you balance protein, carbs and fat
for optimal efficiency in the saddle? And especially without artificial
sugars (sucralose, acesulfame, saccharine, etc.) or fats (high fructose
corn syrup or others). I'm a nutritionist and alway seeking the best
quality ingredients for high performance. It's true that you'll burn up
most of it quickly, but the pro-oxidative effects can be long lasting.
I'm a fan of Ultima Electrolytes (New York) and Honey Stinger gels and
protein bars (energy bars I can take or leave).
Thanks so much,
Helen
