Throwing this out to the larger group:

Friday May 26th

1. Bigelow Double Traverse: From Stratton over to East Flagstaff Rd and back. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 32 miles and about 13k vert.

Any takers? I may be able to arrange a place to stay on the 25th at Sugarloaf for an early start on the 26th. I'm figuring 12-14 hrs at a solid clip.

I love this. Go team! Is the snow really gone already up there?!

As far as I know there is no record of a double traverse...John, I can slow down, maybe we won't get lost this time.

Is anyone able to come with? At least for a single traverse? Not sure I can pull this off without cars at both ends.

I DO have a place for anyone to stay at Sugarloaf Thursday and Friday.

The weather looks potentially kind of bunk on Fri. :/ I will be mother-hen-worried if you do it that day. Not that you couldn't do it, just don't want you to get done in by a slick bit o granite bub.

(If you can do it Sat, I want to climb Cranberry & North Horn solo but could help you with car spot beforehand.)

It sure does Xar and you are right,...I may have to switch it up and head to the mid-coast instead; I can handle Camden Hills/Ragged/Bald Mtn in the rain.

Bummer on the Bigs, but Camden will take good care of you. Hope SD is awesome and that taper doesn't suck. Go Zak!
