A friend of mine that I met at Hard Rock in 09, Jeff List, invited me and some others to do the Mahoosuc range this Sunday. There is room for others if anyone cares to join. Its a 30ish mile point to point and we'll be parking in Gorham, NH, then piling into a car (or 2) and driving up past Lincoln NH, running the trail and then retrieving the stashed car, and coming home. It will be a big day of hard mountain running. Figure on 10,000 feet of gain, the same loss.

I've attached some files that my friend Jeff put together so you map nerds can peruse and drool. ---Actually the attachments are too big. email me if you want the files---

My plan is to go out hard and to keep going hard until I finish or blow up. Jeff List will probably be slower than me, and some will probably be faster. As long as we discuss the car situation before we start I this doesn't need to be a "stick together" situation.

This is a grand opportunity. Think about whether you are capable of going over 30 miles of very steep, rocky terrain with virtually no bailout point. If the answer is YES, then join in for a trip you will not soon forget.

Oh man, sounds epic! Will be up in Bangor this weekend, which will be enough traveling for me. Saying "have fun" seems pointless, as I know you will!

Sounds like an epic run James! Sorry that I can't make it but wishing
you another great run as you get ready to slay it at Virgil Crest.

Hope to hit the trails with you soon and looking forward to seeing you
down in NY in a few weeks.

David
