It's a great time of year to sit back, reflect on our year's worth of races, drink some porkslap, eat more bacon-topped maple donuts and run like the wind at

Blackstrap Hell II

which is tentatively on the calendar for Sunday Nov 22.

Why tentative? Because I am on the Falmouth Land Trust and sit on numerous Town of Falmouth trail-related committees, I felt obliged to make this race known to all the above. The president of the land trust replied "have fun"! But the town wants a "certificate of insurance" naming the Town as insured. So much for doing the right thing. And hence the delay in getting this announcement out earlier. '

I know it's not, but that sounds shady. If RRCA only know what it was
covering!

I'll be there with bacon on. Perhaps I'll weave a bacon suit for the
child.
