I'm pretty sure I'll be going, not so sure about the distance though.

We're most likely in as well. Like the others, distance TBD.

I would like to have gone, but we are doing inventory that day. I have already committed to that.

Not sure if I'm going or not. I've already gotten Erin to let me go down for the new year's day boston marathon, which is just a few days before that, so unsure if I'll be allowed to head down for this too.  I'm also planning on running with Gary Allen a few days after that as he comes through the Portland area on his run from Cadillac Mountain to DC to watch the inauguration. So I'm going to go out on a limb and assume I can't make it but that could change.

Was planning on this one but it looks like I might be working weekends for while. If I do make it down it'll just be for a few loops-but worth it to connect with everyone. Miss running with you all and hope to hook up soon.

If you wouldn't mind swinging by to pick me up at the usual park and ride, I'd love a ride.

Yes, have fun. I'll be xc skiing somewhere but will try to get in as close to 50k as I can.

Not sure if this is in the cards – knee feels funky.  Does anyone know what the trail conditions are?

I don't know what the conditions are going to be like, Randy was saying that they mostly got rain with the first storm we got last week. I'll ask around on FB and see what I can find out.

Bummer about the knee.

Danielle and I ran the course on Christmas Day, and it was the driest I'd ever seen it. However, according to my parents—who live 10 minutes away—last Thursday they saw a ton of rain followed up with about 3 inches of snow on Saturday. So, I would expect the conditions to be icy and lumpy. Good Massanutten training, if you're into that sort of thing.
