TheMercedes-Benz system provides you with several ways of finding a location. You can either spell the name, find a place near another location, look up locations by category, find them by address, use coordinates, search recently found locations, and find them in saved locations.

Because the SD card holds all the map data and navigation software, Mercedes claims that this makes it easier to download updates from the internet. The owner simply removes the SD card from the slot in the car, plugs it into the slot on their computer, and then downloads any new material from Mercedes-Benz and Garmin when it becomes available.
