Dear all

Greetings!!

From the past 2 weeks, we are having a Silent March on the road opposite to St. Ann's College, Mehdipatnam. We were all surprised that there were so many senior citizens coming out to support the demands.

It is almost impossible for senior citizens and also for young girls/ women to walk on that stretch because the area is full of dustbins and also people urinate all over the place.

Time: 7 AM

Venue: The road opposite St. Ann's College, Mehdipatnam

Starting Place: Opposite St. Ann's College, Mehdipatnam

The demands are

1. Dustbins cannot be on the footpaths: What are the solutions? There are many and we can discuss the issues out once the authorities are willing but fundamentally the people who walk are the under privileged and they are not the ones polluting.

2. Urination has to be stopped

We demand Zero Tolerance to footpath encroachment

Mr. Srinivas and Ms. Radhai ( both of whom are addressed on this mail) have been at the forefront of this struggle. Please contact either of them if you are interested in joining us at the Mehdipatnam venue.

Please start this in your own areas. Police Permission is needed. Please contact us if you need help.

Save Your Own City

Thanking You

Yours Sincerely
