RE: Training Programme for Survey

Dear all

Greetings!!

As mentioned earlier, the training programme for a walkability survey to be held later this month

The Details of the traning programme are as follows

Date: Oct 13, 2011

Venue: Traffic Police Control Room ( Conference Hall)

Time: 6: 30 PM for about an hour

The surveyors will need to attend a training Session for One hour on Thursday, the 13th October @ 6.30 pm in the conference room of the additional police commissioner's office (traffic) Control Room, Basheer Bagh

 

The survey itself will be done in the week of the 16th on a working day during different peak hours.

 

The Surveyors need to form a team of 5 & survey a stretch of road of 500 metres using the prescribed survey format.

 

They will need to use cameras & a measuring tape as accessories.

 

The actual survey is expected to take around 2 hours.

 

We need volunteers from all walks of life. Senior Citizens, Home makers and students ( above the age of 14 ) are all most welcome
