[VOTE] RELEASE-1.6.0-RC4

Hello All,

I've prepared a release for v1.6.0 (RC4)

Changes since 1.5.1:

This time around we have no artifacts because building out of the source tarball is not complete, and we are not distributing RPM's to be voted upon anymore. There will be convenience RPM's for download still. You will need to check out the git tag and build from there following the instructions in the build directory.

This corresponds to git:

Hash: 000e20967da2ae2faaddc7a5c77d53cfaac9afd2

Tag: RELEASE-1.6.0-RC4

Which can be verified with the following:

git tag -v RELEASE-1.6.0-RC4

My code signing key is available here:

Make sure you refresh from a key server to get all relevant signatures.

The vote is open until Wed July 13th, 2016.

Hi,

Unfortunately I have to -1 RC4 due to issue #1596. PR #1597 has been submitted and will need to be cherry-picked into the 1.6.x branch.
