[VOTE] RELEASE-1.6.0-RC5

Hello All,

I've prepared a release for v1.6.0 (RC5)

Changes since 1.5.1:

This time around we have no artifacts because building out of the source tarball is not complete, and we are not distributing RPM's to be voted upon anymore. There will be convenience RPM's for download still. You will need to check out the git tag and build from there following the instructions in the build directory.

This corresponds to git:

Hash: 1936127c400d29cd7de3e778f135e331df3aa826

Tag: RELEASE-1.6.0-RC5

Which can be verified with the following:

git tag -v RELEASE-1.6.0-RC5

My code signing key is available here:

Make sure you refresh from a key server to get all relevant signatures.

The vote is open until Fri July 15th, 2016.

Hi,

Unfortunately I'm -1 on this RC due to #1602. I have already submitted PR #1603 to fix the bugs and will submit a backport PR for 1.6.x after it's merged.
