Google tells me that I don't have permissions when trying to open this
list's archive in my browser, making it impossible to share some of the
great posts on here. Is this intentional? If so, can we please make
the list public again, and keep it that way?

Cheers,
Philipp

Hmm... that behavior is neither intended nor expected. The basic permissions are:

Join -> Anyone
Read -> Anyone
Post -> People who join

It could have been a glitch: visiting this thread in a private browsing window works for me at the moment.

Thanks for clarifying, Justin.

I originally noticed this issue while opening this link, which still
doesn't work for me:
<https://groups.google.com/forum/#!msg/traffic-obf/UyaLc9jPNmY/ovNImK5HEQAJ>

Neither does:
<https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/traffic-obf>

Nor does:
<https://groups.google.com/d/msgid/traffic-obf/20190612173957.2bkrmyr4adabecqe%40nymity.ch>
...which is supposed to be this thread.

Hmm... I was able to replicate a few times on my computer in private browsing, but the last time it worked, so there's some non-deterministic behavior going on.  I'll try to get it fixed.

Groups changed their settings recently, and I think this may have been a side-effect of that.  In any event, it should be fixed.  There's a setting that determines whether a group will show up in the "directory", which was only set to members.

Let me know if it works for you now, and thanks for pointing out the problem!
