Each student will gather four sounds. For each sound, complete the
following prompts:
1) Describe exactly what the sound is.
2) Why is this sound significant to you? What is the sound's
EMOTIONAL potential?
3) What is the sound's MUSICAL potential? Does the sound have any
rhythmic, melodic, or harmonic qualities? With which instrument or
combination of instruments do you believe could this sound be best
translated?

MUSICAL potential? What qualities made each of these sounds the
strongest?
