Therewere a number of Archetypes I never got around to playing on live, Blaster being one of them. I finally decided to give one a try and rolled a Fire/Time based on a very quick search and basically went with what I saw suggested on two occasions (they may have been the only two recommendation for that combo on the internet as I have not found much info beyond that). Anyway I'm sitting at 35 equally as unfamiliar with /Time as I am Blasters. I did find one build and swapped out a couple things for Flight but beyond that it's essentially as I found it. I guess I have two questions....

I've enjoyed the combo so far and the build in the grand scheme of things is relatively cheap so I'm not too concerned with some min/max letdown. There just seems to be quite a few combos MUCH more popular so I am kind of rethinking building this one out. Back in the day I'd build anything out but I don't find myself with that much time anymore so any guidance would be appreciated.

This is the build I planned for it (Future Pain for Aging Touch, same slots). Offers some good defenses and hover if you like hover blasting (if not, change it for combat jumping or whatever you prefer)

It's a very good combo. I've soloed Ms Liberty TF, ITF and Tinpex (not sure this is the right name - the one with Battle Maiden) all on +4x8 with mine. Then I deleted her because I just don't enjoy overpowered toons anymore.

I lost count on how many times I died, but it was easily over 30. It also my first and only try, so I'd say a good chunk of those deaths were me just seeing how far I could go without any insps or pets up

As for the towers, I've pre-summoned my lore pet, shivan and snow beast, popped a few dual inspirations + Ageless and focused on the +tohit tower first. My toon hovered slightly above the tower - just enough for me to sill be able to use my melee and PBAoE attacks while also forcing LR to waste a few precious milliseconds trying to jump and punch my face. Big greens were used to deal with the occasional ranged shots that managed to get through my defenses.

I believe I died 4 times on that first tower, but as soon as it went down, everything else was a breeze.

Fun facts:

I lost count on how many times I died, but it was easily over 30. It also my first and only try, so I'd say a good chunk of those deaths were me just seeing how far I could go without any insps or pets up

My Fire/Time blaster is one of my most fun chars, though I tend to melee for most of my chars, she's a ranged combatant. I doubt I am at max DPS or survivability, but well enough to scary enough to the mobs. (I haven't taken against any of the solo challenges that people do, because I get bored fighting AVs alone...

I honestly wasn't trying not to die. I'm not flexing nor saying I could do a deathless MLTF (although, it does feel doable), and I know I wouldn't be able do it without insps and pets, which I guess is part of your point - but I'll get to that in a moment.

Just like you, I too hate dying. But when I started the TF I didn't have any expectations, a min-maxed build, nor a plan. In that moment I just wanted to see how far I could go and, in a way, be reminded of how the TF felt like when teams couldn't steam roll the whole thing. I purposely did a few things that led to my death - eg: waiting for all the ambushes in the first mission to come to me instead of taking them one by one - while others caught me by surprise as in "oh, I didn't know this would happen".

Now, I said the combo was "very good" and that I deleted my toon because it felt OP to me.

To clarify, in my book, no toon should be able to solo an ITF on max diff + no insps + no temps. If you can then yes I do consider the build OP.

And I did that with mine. It wasn't a deathless run (2 deaths total - cyst explosion and death-by-aggro after carelessly being stunned by rommie's rez) , but I'm certain my toon could do that too.

To wrap it all up, please note that I consider myself an average player and I have zero intention of telling others what to play - whether that's an "OP" build, a pool-powers-only toon, or anything in between. But to me, my toons cease to be fun after I achieve certain feats. So unless they hold a special place in my heart, I delete them. And if for some reason I get the itch to play such combo again, I do it from scratch to get that awesome feel of progression all over again.

- drop Vengeance. This build has pretty insane recharge already, I don't think the +7.5% is doing as much for you as Aim would. You could also use that slot to take Soul Mastery instead and pick up Power Boost (I don't think Dark Consumption is useful enough relative to its cooldown).

Full disclosure I'm bad at math and can't wrap my head around damage formulas. But, my understanding is that ToHit and Accuracy work together in a way that both are relevant no matter how much of the other you have. I usually aim for at least +30% global accuracy from set bonuses which might be too much but I really hate missing. If you find that you are still hitting often enough without the extra 18% I suggested then those slots could definitely find use elsewhere.

Cheers Uun, I really don't like the smaller range on Soul drain with power boost so I tend to avoid it, I'm hoping clarion radial will fill the void for me most of the time. Slowed response wise I was trying to get soul drain 3 levels earlier which is probably not that big of a deal so good feedback, I've shuffled that in at 35.

There is a method in CronTrigger called getFireTimeAfter(Date) which gives the next time the job will fire after the given date. This works well when the supplied date is now or in the future. But it doesn't seem to work if the date is in the past.

This is kind of weird but the protection mechanism exists. No idea why Quartz Team have that check. The below test passes only if I add an hour to the nxtDay(nxtDay = nxtTrigger.Value.DateTime.AddHours(1);)

This is my first Quartz.net project. I have done my basic homework and all my cron triggers fire correctly and life is good. However Iam having a hard time finding a property in the api doc. I know its there , just cannot find it. How do I get the exact time a trigger is scheduled to fire ? If I have a trigger say at 8:00 AM every day where in the trigger class is this 8:00 AM stored in ?

You should get what you're after from getNextFireTime (the value from that method should be accurate after having called ScheduleJob()). Also the ScheduleJob() method should return the date of the first fire time.

I learned this tip living in the West where wildfires are an annual threat. Until these periodic hellfires became a real threat to my home, I had no idea just how fierce, molten hot, and unpredictable these phenomena could be. Just walking up to the fire line and spraying the fire with water or shoveling sand over it is inadequate for all but mop up operations. So fire crews strategize to get ahead of the inferno to cut off its supply of fuel. Well ahead of the path of the flames, fire fighters use bulldozers and other earth moving equipment to cut a fire break, a wide swath of land without any combustible fuel designed to stop the fire along that designated line.

Fire breaks have become a standard part of my management of my life and work. Why not give it a try? Open up your calendar now and schedule one now. You might just find it both a relief to look forward to and more refreshing than a vacation on the beach.

So why do I think this is a big deal? Because, when faced with the tyranny of the blank page, people are going to push The Button. It is so much easier to start with something than nothing. Students are going to use it start essays. Managers are going to use it to start emails, or reports, or documents. Teachers will use it when providing feedback. Scientists will use to write grants. And, just as we are seeing with Adobe incorporating AI into Photoshop, when AI gets integrated into a familiar tool, adoption become simple. Everyone is going to use The Button.

As you can see, from just pasting in the job description and a bare-bones description of the student: My name is professor Jo Lee, write a glowing letter of recommendation for Sally Doe, who got an A in my college entrepreneurship class. Make it for this job: Infosys Foundation [I pasted in the full description here], I got a letter in a couple of seconds.

I am writing this letter to enthusiastically recommend Sally Doe for the internship position at the Infosys Foundation USA. As a professor of Entrepreneurship at our institution, I had the pleasure of having Sally in my class last semester, where she consistently displayed her incredible intellect, strategic thinking, and dedication to her work.

In the classroom, Sally was a standout student, not only for the caliber of her work but also for her commitment and collaborative spirit. She earned an impressive 'A' grade in my challenging course, which is testament to her commitment and her capacity to comprehend, analyze, and execute complex concepts and assignments.

One of the remarkable traits that Sally exhibited in my class was her knack for digital learning platforms, which makes her an ideal fit for contributing to the development and management of the Pathfinder's Online Institute. She showed an excellent grasp of modern technologies and was often at the forefront of discussions on enhancing user experience and design.

Additionally, Sally's excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, set her apart from her peers. Her assignments were always articulated in a clear and engaging manner, revealing her ability to draft compelling narratives. I am confident that she will utilize this skill to significantly contribute to your social media and marketing efforts.
