Part 1: Translating
This course is designed for translators who want to get familiar with
SDL Trados
Studio 2015 quickly, so they can start working productively with the
solution from
day one. Prerequisites: Basic understanding of PCs, the Windows
operating system
and MS Word.
Part 2: Working with the Supply Chain and Pre-production
This is a follow-up course to help users work within the supply chain
and create
Translation Memories and Term Bases using legacy content.
Prerequisites: Attendance
on the SDL Trados Getting Started Part 1 course or equivalent knowledge.
SDL Trados Studio 2015 Certification
The exam questions are based on the topics covered in the SDL Trados
Studio 2015
- Getting Started Part 1 and 2 courses. It consists of 40 questions and
last 40
minutes. Attendees take their exams by logging into their SDL Account,
where they
can find their exams.

This 2-day course prepares the freelance translator for the 1st of 4
levels of the
SDL Trados Studio 2015 Certification.
Course includes a free software trial download and a software purchase
discount.
For those without a laptop, rental laptops will be available for $75 for
the duration
of the course.
Training materials will be available one week prior to the course.
There are several restaurants nearby for lunch.
