Info Lake Kariba and road conditions

Hi everyone,
In August I will make a trip through South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe...
I'd like to know if anyone knows if it's possible find a private ferry from Kariba to Matusadona or from Matusadona to Maabwe/Mlibizi. We have two vehicles.


We are also worried about road conditions after the floods.
We are thinking about Sua Pan in Botswana, roads in Kafue NP in Zambia, Mana Pools NP and Hwange NP in Zimbabwe.

Dear Elena
You can catch the MacMaster’s ferry from Kariba to Matusodona.
There is no ferry directly from Kariba to Maabwe.
There is a small ferry that takes one car from Tashinga across the Ume river.
It will take you roughly 7 hours to get to Maabwe from Tashinga.
