What about tea and coffee? Confiscate that too? And Cremora, since milk is verboten?

Are there restrictions coming back into South Africa?

joking said "we confiscate everything apart from cold beer", and that is
kind of the mentality you should have when planning.
 
They did search the vehicle and caravan, so don't try hiding things in
easily accessible places...

I have no idea why anyone would want to pack food etc for trips to Namibia,
Botswana & Zambia, all you are doing is wasting fuel driving a heavier
vehicle.
These destinations are well covered with food and fuel suppliers.

Hallo Denys,

Coffee and tea is OK, I don't know about Cremora. As mentioned before, Namibia is well-stocked and will having everything you need!

Coming back to SA is not a problem, but you are limited by weight/volume at customs for goods for personal use. So don't bring back enough oryx steak to fill up the freezer at home!
