ZIMRA eTIP

Good Morning

I am having difficulty registering on the ZIMRA eTIP website for travel to Zimbabawe.

The website says it has sent me an activation email which I have not received in my inbox, junk mail or anywhere else. I have tried calling, emailing and messaging ZIMRA, but no response. There is no iPhone app either and my brother tells me that the Android app is also not active.

I have also had no response from the Crossing Beit Bridge Facebook group and have tried calling and messaging them too.

Interestingly, when i click on the "Forgot Password" link, I get an immediate email and I can reset my password, but still can't get in until I receive the activation email.

Any suggestions?

I can agree with the "keep trying" approach, i had the same difficulty in 2023. When i tried again the next day I immediately received the activation email.

You can contact Solomon Mhlangu, the owner of Crossing Beitbridge, on WA +27685892302. He also has a WA group where he posts updates on the border post, especially when it gets busy.

It’s day 3 now! The problem with retrying is that I get an immediate response that my passport number has already been used and the system won’t let me re-submit.

No response to calls or WhatsApps to Solomon on that number in the last few days.

Am thinking that my best option is to create a Word document with all my details as per the instructions on the website, so I have it ready when we get to Beit Bridge for manual entry?

hi Peter ,  also include a screenshot of the error to prove you tried. At least at Sango and Vic Falls border posts in my case tablets were available to capture. In any event they had to accept manual input rather than the system as I had more items to declare to customs than the system would allow. The staff had some choice words to describe their system which I appreciated,

all the best , once you are in the country the experience is well well worth the effort,
