it is a rough road, with deep corrugate,sand 

but doable, only exhausting

Drove today from Mababe to Kasane. Lot of Traffic. 6hours for the complete Tour. Some deep Sand sections but No Problems.

Hey Tim

we did the same route end of June, week before where still some heavy thunderstorms, is doable, just before Mababe gate a deep sand stroke. After the gate, correct, better take march route, after the telecom antenna, as on your map, leave March route, we had still some small wet parts due te the rain week before , i and go trough the bush track, is rather good, to join, the 'normal' route to Savuti. on that part some parts really  sandy, so low gear,  stay calm, keep the momentum and you see our hilux did always find his way out... it's part of the adventure but you will be happy to reach Savuti to relax a bit.
