Hope everyone is well. Me and my farther have been doing overlanding for a while but have been working off of physical maps and google maps, we are looking to get a garmin for navigation.

If anyone can help with which garmin would work best for us. (we travel many places where there is no signal)

Thanks
Francois

As long as you can use Tracks 4 Africa on the Garmin most will work.

The best are the Overlander and Tread. I use the Overlander and am happy with it. It is not the easiest initially but once used to it, works fine.

Thanks

Hi Francois

I have been using a Garmin Nuvi 67LM for 12 years or so. Good size screen and no issues .. hy werk net.

I would suggest looking for an older Nuvi model before committing to the new expensive models. You can buy them second hand for around R500 or even less. Get two and you have a back up.

Cheers Brett
