e-Visa Malawi experiences at Lusuntha Border - Mqocha Border

Hi all!

Does anyone have experience with e-Visa for Malawi when crossing small borders like Lusuntha-Mqocha into Malawi?

Is this a port of entry where they easily except the electronic visa or do you rather advise to go for the "old" visa process (sending the passport to the embassy prior to the trip)?

Hi all!

Short update after contacting Malawi immigrations: eVisa will be accepted at this smaller border post. In August I can provide an update if this is in fact correct.
