Hi Rose,

I spent 3 days at Matusadona in 2023 - so not that recent! African Parks has added several wilderness campsites through the park - at the time there were no facilities but they were planning to add water tanks and ablutions; I'm not sure on the progress there.

I love Tashinga campsite itself, where you literally camp on the peninsula with great sunsets, and some elephant that wander through the camp from time to time. Game drives along the lake shore produced more game, including lion, and I had a great visit to Kings Camp fishing village, where they will take you for a walk through the village and show you how they dry the fish that they catch.

The AP website on Matusadona is updated regularly, you will get up to date information from there on the campsites:https://visitmatusadona.org/

Enjoy!

Regards/Groete

Hi Rose
Matusodona is run by African Parks and is very well run.
Tashinga is the main camping area there are lots of bush camps and recently added self catering tents at Tashinga. They have Jenje which is an all inclusive camp too
