Road conditions Namibia

Good day

I would like to know the road conditions of the 2 options from Windhoek to Sesriem/Sossus.

 

1. The C26 via Spreetshoogte and D 1265,  D 1261 and D 1275 and C19
2. The C 24 south of Rehoboth ( Gamsberg ) D 2261and D 1275 or C14 and D 854

Just a bit of info in particular after the recent rains.

Good morning Manfred,

I had a look on the DriveNam Facebook page but could not find any recent updates, only from last year October which was before the rains.

If you join the group and ask there, you will get some good information - one of the moderators is a guide in Namibia, and she share the road conditions she receives from other guides on the road. Lots of recent info - if there is no recent update I would think the roads are in fair condition—the bulldozer is extremely diligent on the gravel roads in Namibia!
