Hi guys, I apologize for also cluttering your inbox. Tonight will be my second foray onto the track since my achilles debacle and I'm quite hesitant to jump into intervals. I'd prefer to do a more moderate tempo run of around five miles or so ~5:30 pace, but perhaps dipping down to 5:20s. This would also give me a nice litmus test for Saturday (in regards to pacing). I don't want to pull anyone away from a nice group working the distance intervals, but if anyone is on the mend or would like to go a bit slower I'll be chugging around the track tonight.

best,

sam r.

Sorry to spam the list, but I thought someone might be interested in this opportunity to make $400 while helping out a good cause:

If you are at least 5'11", are free all day next Monday-Tuesday and half the day Wednesday (3/8-3/10), and are willing to stand around in a Hazmat suit while people take pictures of you, shoot me an email.

Sam, I am quite sure Chris Gurney and Daniel Feldman are doing straight or mixed pace tempos. Definitely start with those before you are jumping into intervals and it's going to be good to see you get yourself back into it. Lindsay, for instance, is only doing tempos too, as will Tracey soon, etc. Always build up with tempos before hitting the intervals.

Hi everyone:
I know it's much too short a notice but:
I was writing to invite anyone who's interested to the Ivy Room tonight at 858 San Pablo in Albany to listen to some music. A band I play in, Wasteband, will play tonight with two other acts. Our music is lyrical folk pop. The other two bands consist of dueling electric guitars w/ vocals and a jazz trio respectively.
It starts at 8:30 and will go until about midnight.
Apologies for the late notice. It would be lovely to see any of you all there!

Sincerely,
Heather
