Movie and Final Four

Good evening all,

Just wanted to throw out a couple of possible events/gatherings this weekend.

1. Does anyone want to go see Clash of the Titans tomorrow night? I heard a few people express interest at the workout, but wanted to see if there was any more. Since it's opening night, we should probably buy tickets online ahead of time, which I am willing to do, provided everyone pays me back. I think it's a bit more expensive online due to the transaction/convenience fee, but whatever. It's worth getting into the movie. So I was thinking about a 9 or 9:30 showtime to allow ample time for dinner plans. Any takers? Email me back by tomorrow at noon at 1pm at latest and I will let people know what's up at that time.

2. The Final Four is Saturday evening. 1st game at 3pm our time and 2nd game at 5:45pm our time. I work until 6, but was wondering if people would want to get together somewhere for either or both games like Looney's or Meridian or Bear's Lair or somewhere else. I could come meet y'all after I get off work. Thoughts?

3. Anyone want to run in the afternoon tomorrow? I don't have work or any personal obligations so I can meet at any time. I'm looking to go 5-7 miles.

Good job to everyone at the workout tonight and we missed those who couldn't make it.

I'll be at the Mathis meet with Jack & Joshua and probably shut it down for the evening, however this sounds like something that would have been hard to pass up 15 years ago. Have a blast.

I'm in. I can purchase my own ticket or give you cash, depending on the general vibes from other folks. I'm up for a run in the afternoon, but was hoping to go more early evening say 5:30ish. I need to get some work in as the morning will be spent dealing with the moderately-sized pyre of laundry that I either need to burn or wash. In regards to the Final Four, I hear the University of New Jersey in Durham made it, so I guess being a good Carolina boy I'm obliged to go heckle them... and I mean all the good private schools are in South Carolina.   ;)   

I think I'll go make a mint julep as a nightcap just for the sake of it.
