European housing for Kenyans

Hi all:

 

I hope I am not stepping on anyone's toes but I have a broad-based query (also please don't hit "reply all" with this or I'll end up taking a little ride in the trunk of a late model American sedan).

 

I wanted to see whether anyone might have any leads on very inexpensive (or free-haha) for this summer housing rentals in Europe. David Cheromei and I are joining forces to coach and represent some up-and-coming Kenyan runners who come here with next to nothing, looking for an opportunity to make a name for themselves. We hope to have some athletes entered competing in international-level track meets and at competitive-venue road races across the pond as well as in the USA.

 

I would also like to take this opportunity to forward this email from age 50-54 American superstud distance runner Brian Pilcher, whose wife Rebecca is a very accomplished poet. Becky has come out with a book of environmental poetry called God, Seed. It is coming out in September, but the publisher is giving a 10% discount and free shipping to early orders before May 1. It costs $18, but it is full length and is illustrated with artwork by Lorna Stevens. This is unusual for poetry to be done with art, and so it is a compelling and gutsy effort. I have attached 3 broadsides, so you can see what it looks like. I really believe it deserves some attention and support.
