Hey all - I've been diving back into making short edits with my gopro again and really digging it. Now, I know that most people are using PCs and Resolve or whatever to do editing, but I've had issues and am really not wanting to do that much to create edits.
same problem for me in 2022 after switching from gopro 5 to gopro 10, the videos are almost all under HEVC codec and Lightroom cannot play them.
They will therefore no longer be in our database, workflow and we may no longer see them. This needs to be corrected or an alternative to Lightroom found...
Does this mean you cannot auto-upload gopro app videos from an android to dropbox when we get back to wifi? I would like to upload gopro videos to dropbox the same way that other videos and photos taken by my phone get synced. I've not found info on the GoPro resources on this.
It is a shame about the 2 second interval on the GoPro Max for the 360 camera, however it seems to be the only way to get the top quality results. I also have set up a method of syncing to Mapillary directly from the GoPro cloud (so effectively just connect the gopro to the wifi, and the rest will happen automatically), which would be harder with video.
