Hi guys,

i've got some problems testing TracExplorer. I tried both versions
(v0.1 and the latest 0.2.* build).

First i tried to configure version 0.2. Installation works fine, then,
when trying to add a Trac Server, it's impossible to me to add my
credentials. Username and passwort input box is always disabled,
ignoring which type of authentication i have selected.

So I tried version 0.1, which allows me to add my credentials. But
after adding my credentials, the tool always throws me the message
"Server Check Failed - Not Found". The URL i typed in is 100%
correct.

Any ideas?

Thank you in advance!

I've had this issue before as well. The `Trac URL` dialog box seems
to be a little picky. You'll may need to add a trailing forward slash
to your URL before the authentication dialog boxes are enabled.

That is, rather than:
http://trac.edgewall.org

Try:
http://trac.edgewall.org/

Actually, what I posted previously does not appears to be correct.

It seems to work, however, to select your authentication mechanism and
then enter the `Trac URL`. Or, just type a single character in the
`Trac URL` (such as a trailing forward slash), after selecting the
authentication mechanism.

Thank you for your answer.

I tried your suggestions but had no success.

I tried:

http://trac/
http://trac
http://trac/?
http://trac/'

All with the same result:

Server Check Failed

Not Found

...
Any further ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Thank you Mladen! I've delegated the installation of xmlrpc to my
server admin. I will give it another try when the installation is
done.
