hi all,

just want to ask 3 question.

1- before set the user authentication, i cannot login to the server due to this error "Authentication information not available". after set the authentication. only registered user can login and view the web... how to configure the authentication to make sure all the guest can view the web? that mean, all visitor do not required to login to the server.
2- other than using trac-admin, can user change their own password?
3- after login to the server, user cannot log out. nothing happened after click log out button

thanks,
ben

Bump.

I cannot determine how to change the admin password, or even login for the first time after installing trac!

Cannot find anything in the documentation about this except trac-admin command in CLI, which does not seem to have done anything when I tried to use it to change the admin user.

Please Help!  Was told really good things about trac and really don't want to have to ditch it for something else.

Hi,

This link can give you the options with authentication.

The way you change the password will depend on your trac installation and how did you configure it (samples shown on the link above).

Cheers
