I recently installed Trac 1.0rc1.  Now that 1.0 has been released, is there a different procedure to follow when moving from 1.0rc1 to 1.0 or do I just follow the 'upgrade" instructions?

Thanks,

Just following the upgrade should work fine. It does from revision to
revision during development too. Continuous upgrade support is one of
the strong points of Trac, I guess.

I'm a newbie in Trac. I'm using version 0.12 to almost 30 days and I am satisfied. Then ask the most experienced and recommended upgrade my version 0.12 to 1.0 stable?

Yes, again, if all used plugins are ready for 1.0 as well.
You'll make full backup of all Trac environments, and make sure, they're
working indeed before upgrading them, right?

It might be true that they are not supported in Trac 1.0, or it could just be that no one has tested them. I suggest first reviewing all open tickets to see if anyone has reported problems when running the plugin on Trac 1.0. Then, try testing the plugin on a non-production instance of Trac. If you find problems, please open a ticket. If you find no problems, feel free to add the 1.0 tag to the wiki page.

RjOllos,

Thank you! Now it was clear how it works.
