Good Morning,

I am looking to upgrade my Trac System from Trac 1.2.5 to Trac 1.4.  We have several Plugins that have not been worked on for a while and I am not sure if these plugins will be compatible with Trac 1.4.

Are the following plugins likely to be compatibility with Trac 1.4

Table Sorter Plugin -- https://trac-hacks.org/wiki/TableSorterPlugin

Cite Code Plugin -- https://trac-hacks.org/wiki/CiteCodeMacro

Full Blog Plugin -- https://trac-hacks.org/wiki/FullBlogPlugin

Toc Macro Plugin -- https://trac-hacks.org/wiki/TocMacro

Wiki WYSIWYG Plugin -- https://trac-hacks.org/wiki/TracWysiwygPlugin

Thank You,

David J.

Most of these will benefit from having their IRequestHandler or IRequestFilter returns tweaked to work with Jinja2 templates, as described here: https://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/TracDev/PortingFromGenshiToJinja#IRequestHandler Things that work with 1.2 will mostly be OK apart from that unless they rely upon ITemplateStreamFilter or Genshi templates that replace core track pages.

Looking them over, I'd expect Toc to work as is. Cite Code's macro looks good to go, though the CiteCodeAndCreateTicket portion might need a little work on the returns. Table Sorter is much the same. Wiki WISIWYG is tagged 1.4 on TrackHacks at present, so somebody got it to work with 1.4. (It's mostly a Javascript thing, so that's not surprising.) I'd install them on a test instance without fear.

Full Blog is much more complex such that I wouldn't care to speculate much after just a quick glance. At the very least, it's full of Genshi templates, which while they will work for now would need to be replaced to avoid dragging you down performance-wise with double renders. I'd expect to devote some time and effort to that one if I were wanting to use it going forward.

Best,
